Transport Team Leader | Qatar Aircraft Catering Company | Qatar Airways Group

As a transport team leader you will be responsible to conduct all Voyage Report (VR) investigations of the Transport department, and to organize all vacation and overtime daily requirements and reporting. Collates the Monthly KPI reporting pack. Reviews On Time Performance (OTP) data. Responsible for putting together overall roster of the Transport department under the guidance of the Duty Supervisors. Involved in rostering administration, Vehicle Maintenance management and records, Ramp Safety Training records. Responsible to deliver the Catering Services as per the Customer Specifications and in accordance with Safe Regulations set forth b the Air ort Authorities.

Accountabilities

• Ensures on-time dispatching of allocated flights as per the Airline Specifications/GLP & Food Safety Standard and as per the Airport Safety Regulations/Standard.
• Responsible for checking and safe guarding of issued Tablet/Radio/Personal Protective Equipment & Probe Gun.
• Conducts VR investigations for the Transport Department.
• Responsible for implementation of management instructions including aircraft delivery and handling, food safety, quality control and security.
• Responsible for loading and offloading of all flights including Complex, Ultra-Long Haul (ULH), VIP, Charters, Private and other ad hoc operations, as and when required.
• Ensures adherence to Ramp Safety and Marshalling of HL while performing duties Airside.
• Responsible to manage the allocation and performance of Equipment Operators and other drivers within Service Delivery department.
• Suggests Training programs for all new and existing staff and provides timely feedback.

High School Qualification with minimum 2 years of job-related experience OR Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with minimum 1 years of job-related experience.

Job Specific Skills:

• Excellent Communication in English (spoken and written)
• Valid HGV Driving License.
• Experience of all types of aircraft handover.
• Roistering experience.
• Flexible in working hours and ability to work under pressure.
• Attention to Detail.
• Knowledge to Aircraft loading, knowledge of catering vehicle loading and fleet management.
