About this role

About the role

PwC’s Managed Services delivers trusted expertise, rapid execution, and enduring outcomes by blending cutting-edge technology with deep operational insight.

As part of the Solutioning Team within the Managed Service Catalyst —a specialist group driving PwC’s managed services growth— we ensure our offerings address complex client challenges and position PwC to win and deliver transformative managed services engagements that create lasting strategic, regulatory, and commercial advantage.

This role focuses on the design of scalable, process-led managed service solutions, within Financial Services – Banking and Capital Markets, Insurance, and Asset and Wealth Management. Working as part of a broader pursuit team led by Directors and Partners, you will bring deep expertise in business process design, operating models, and service delivery frameworks, translating client requirements into practical, deliverable solutions.

This role is particularly suited to individuals with a background in target operating model design, process re-engineering, or operations transformation, rather than technology architecture solutioning experience.

What your days will look like:

  • Design and optimise business processes and service delivery models, including as-is/to-be process mapping, service catalogue definition, and the establishment of SLAs, KPIs, performance frameworks, and governance controls.

  • Develop key operating model components such as roles and responsibilities, workflow design, service management structures, and transition and mobilisation approaches.

  • Support the qualification and shaping of managed service opportunities by working with senior stakeholders to understand client objectives, operating environments, and constraints.

  • Contribute to bid strategy development by defining win themes and creating clear, compelling narratives that align client needs, policy drivers, and PwC’s differentiators.

  • Translate regulatory, policy, and operational requirements into scalable service designs, while supporting bid development through high-quality written responses and solution articulation.

  • Collaborate with commercial, finance, and cross-functional teams (technology, delivery, risk) to inform pricing, ensure integrated solution design, support governance forums, and enable a smooth transition from solutioning into delivery.

This role is for you if you have:

  • Strong experience in business process design, operating model development, or managed service solutioning

  • Experience working on outsourced services, operations transformation, or managed services environments, ideally within Financial Services (Banking, Insurance, or Asset & Wealth Management)

  • Experience contributing to bids or solution design activities, including written responses for client proposals

  • Ability to translate complex operational concepts into clear, structured, and compelling documentation

  • Understanding of service design principles, including KPIs, SLAs, governance models, and control frameworks

  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

  • Experience coaching or supporting junior team members in structured delivery environments
