About this role

About the role:

PwC is seeking an experienced Senior Associate Events Executive for a 12‑month fixed-term contract within the Event Delivery team. The team provides professional event management advice, planning, and end-to-end delivery for client events and large-scale, board-level internal events. This role requires ownership and accountability across all stages of event execution.
The role involves managing, planning, and delivering end-to-end in-person events, including client-facing seminars and internal conferences. Responsibilities include collaborating with stakeholders to develop event concepts, overseeing project and budget planning, coordinating with production companies, suppliers, and in-house design teams, and managing delegates.
Strong hands-on experience in delivering live events is essential, along with an understanding of virtual event environments. Expertise in supplier management, negotiation, and knowledge of industry trends is required.
The role includes working closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure events meet defined objectives and align with marketing strategy. A proactive approach to continuous improvement and best practice is expected.
Excellent organisational, communication, and influencing skills are essential, alongside proven experience delivering large and medium-scale events.
The role is based at the More London office, with a requirement to attend events on site across internal office locations and external venues. The position may involve some travel, as well as flexibility to work irregular hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and occasional weekends.

What your days will look like:

  • Define clear objectives for each event and align delivery to campaign goals and overall marketing strategy, while managing timelines and budgets.

  • Plan and deliver end‑to‑end events, including venue sourcing, supplier and speaker coordination, contract management, and oversight of production, branding, and logistics.

  • Provide expert recommendations on suppliers and manage relationships, including negotiating cost‑effective agreements and ensuring compliance with preferred supplier policies.

  • Lead event execution, including rehearsals, stakeholder engagement, and onsite delivery, ensuring a seamless experience and strong collaboration with internal and external partners.

This role is for you if:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering end‑to‑end corporate conferences, events, and seminars in a live environment, ideally within a professional services or B2B setting.

  • A strong understanding of marketing and business development principles, with the ability to apply these in an events context.

  • Ability to plan and manage multiple projects effectively, prioritising competing deadlines while adapting to changing requirements.

  • Confidence to think strategically, influence and challenge stakeholders constructively, and engage in open, collaborative discussion.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including diplomacy and sound judgement, to manage expectations and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

  • Proven analytical and problem‑solving skills, alongside strong numeracy and experience managing budgets, identifying efficiencies, and delivering value.
