How You’ll Contribute

As an Ethics & Business Conduct Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Support and conduct end-to-end Ethics & Business Conduct investigations across the PwC Middle East region.
  • Manage a portfolio of ethics, conduct, workplace behaviour, grievance, misconduct, harassment, retaliation, and business conduct cases.
  • Conduct interviews with reporters, witnesses, and subjects while maintaining neutrality, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Gather and evaluate evidence, identify key facts, assess credibility, and contribute to investigation outcomes and recommendations.
  • Prepare investigation summaries, findings, reports, and recommendations for senior stakeholders and firm leadership.
  • Collaborate with Human Capital, Legal, Risk & Quality, and business stakeholders on a need-to-know basis throughout investigations.
  • Maintain accurate case records, documentation, and investigation trackers in line with governance requirements.
  • Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical behaviour through consistent application of the firm's Code of Conduct and Ethics framework.

What You’ll Bring

Experience Required

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in Ethics & Business Conduct, Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Compliance Investigations, Human Capital Case Management, HR Advisory, Risk & Quality, or Legal Operations.
  • Experience managing sensitive employee-related matters, including grievances, disciplinary cases, workplace conflicts, misconduct allegations, harassment concerns, retaliation claims, or similar conduct-related issues.
  • Demonstrated experience handling multiple cases simultaneously in a structured, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Experience conducting interviews, gathering evidence, documenting findings, and supporting fact-based decision-making processes.
  • Experience preparing written reports, investigation summaries, findings, recommendations, or case documentation for management stakeholders.
  • Experience working within a large corporate, professional services, regulated, or matrix organisation is preferred.
  • Direct Ethics & Business Conduct investigation experience is advantageous but not essential. Candidates with strong Employee
  • Relations or workplace investigations backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

 

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Law, Business Administration, Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, Compliance, Risk Management, Organisational Behaviour, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in Employee Relations, Workplace Investigations, Ethics & Compliance, Mediation, Employment Law, Human Resources, or Risk Management are advantageous.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal English communication is essential due to the report-writing requirements of the role.


Technical & Functional Skills

  • Strong workplace investigation and fact-finding capabilities.
  • Excellent interviewing, questioning, active listening, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Exceptional English report-writing and documentation skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured investigation reports and recommendations.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to objectively assess information and reach evidence-based conclusions.
  • Ability to organise and manage multiple investigations and priorities concurrently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
  • Sound understanding of workplace conduct principles, ethics frameworks, investigation protocols, and employee relations practices.
  • Arabic language capability would be advantageous, particularly for cases involving Arabic-speaking stakeholders.
  • Awareness of labour law or regional regulatory considerations is a plus, but not mandatory.

  • Empathy, professionalism, and sound judgement when dealing with individuals involved in sensitive investigations.
