As sustainability becomes increasingly important for organizations worldwide, we support clients across industries in assuring their sustainability performance. Our teams work at the intersection of financial and sustainability reporting, helping organizations respond to evolving stakeholder expectations and regulatory requirements. Join us in a unique role that combines financial auditing with sustainability assurance, while collaborating with leading companies across Europe.

About the Role

As an associate in financial and sustainability assurance, you will help some of the largest companies across Europe in meeting financial and sustainability reporting standards across various sectors such as technology, renewable energy, healthcare, finance and others. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability assurance into financial audits, providing strategic recommendations.

Assist non-audit clients in designing and implementing templates, policies, and controls for sustainability reporting.

Analyse sustainability metrics, such as carbon emissions, climate risks, and safety incidents, and provide actionable insights.

• Stay updated with the latest research and developments in sustainability practices to drive innovation in client solutions.

• Embrace change and demonstrate resilience in adapting to new frameworks, technologies, and client needs.

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or a relevant field, or currently completing studies with graduation expected within the next few months.

• Languages: Proficiency in English (knowledge of other languages is an advantage).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams and clients.

• Strong analytical and project management skills to handle complex client needs.

Adaptability to thrive in a fast-changing regulatory landscape and willingness to embrace ongoing learning.

Interest and affinity for sustainability and ESG-related topics.

What We Offer

• Career development: Exciting opportunities to grow your expertise in sustainability auditing and shape the future of ESG practices.

• Learning support: Training in globally recognized sustainability frameworks (IFRS, CSRD/ESRS, EU Taxonomy).

• Global exposure: Work cross border with teams and clients of PwC in Germany, Netherlands, France, and other European countries.

• Inclusive environment: A supportive, dynamic, and forward-thinking team culture.
