AI Business Analyst
About this role
What You Will Do
Gather, analyze, clarify, and manage business requirements for business applications, automation initiatives, and AI-based solutions.
Identify, assess, and prioritize process improvement, automation, and AI opportunities.
Analyze current-state and future-state business processes using process maps, process diagrams, and other business analysis techniques.
Leverage AI tools and rapid prototyping approaches to validate ideas, demonstrate concepts, and support requirement discovery and solution shaping.
Prepare and maintain Solution Design Documents and ensure stakeholder review and sign-off.
Define and maintain business requirements, business rules, prompts, and Human-in-the-Loop requirements for AI solutions.
Work closely with developers and solution architects throughout the project lifecycle to clarify requirements and support implementation activities.
Define and align business acceptance criteria, success measures, and expected outcomes.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities, collect feedback, and support requirement refinements.
Support compliance, governance, and Responsible AI activities by ensuring business requirements and stakeholder expectations are properly captured and communicated.
Support solution adoption, change management, user onboarding, and post go-live continuous improvement.
Contribute to best practices, templates, standards, and knowledge-sharing activities across the team.
What We Are Looking For
4+ years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, requirements management, automation projects, or related roles.
Experience gathering, documenting, and managing business and functional requirements.
Experience documenting business processes, solution requirements, process diagrams, use cases, and preparing Solution Design Documents.
Ability to create quick proof-of-concepts and prototypes using AI-powered and low-code tools to accelerate requirement discovery and solution design
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to assess business value, expected benefits, risks, and implementation considerations for proposed solutions.
Good understanding of Generative AI, intelligent automation, and modern digital technologies.
Understanding AI concepts such as AI agents, prompts, Human-in-the-Loop workflows, and Generative AI use cases.
Strong prompt engineering skills and ability to effectively interact with AI tools to improve analysis, documentation, requirements gathering, and solution discovery.
Strong understanding of AI-assisted productivity and business workflows, including the effective use of tools such as M365 Copilot, ChatGPT, and similar AI assistants.
Experience using AI tools to accelerate business analysis activities, process documentation, research, content creation, and stakeholder communication.
Experience working with structured and unstructured data, including data quality assessment, data cleansing, and analysis activities.
Ability to assess data sources, data quality, and information readiness for automation and AI use cases.
Ability to identify business processes and scenarios suitable for AI, automation, or traditional technology solutions and recommend the most appropriate approach.
Ability to translate business requirements into clear and actionable requirements for technical teams.
Experience coordinating User Acceptance Testing activities and business sign-off processes.
Understanding change management, user adoption, and stakeholder engagement practices.
Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and project delivery lifecycles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Fluent spoken and written English.
Nice To Have
Familiarity with Microsoft Foundry, Microsoft Copilot Studio, or other AI platforms.
Understanding of Generative AI concepts such as RAG, vector search, and knowledge grounding.
Experience working on AI or digital transformation projects.
Basic understanding of Azure services and cloud technologies.
Familiarity with Responsible AI principles and AI governance concepts.
Experience working in consulting or professional services environments.
Experience with process modelling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or similar solutions.
