Description
The Supervisor Adjustments reporting into the PPC & Adjustments Manager will ensure that all processes are executed appropriately and promptly, and lead and direct the daily work schedule of the direct reports.
Responsibilities
- Support manager by coaching and developing a team of employees
- Evaluate performance
- Provide feedback
- Identify training needs
- Report preparation, etc.
- Perform audit activities
- Support Customer Contact Centre objectives
- Support company policy and procedures
- Workload management
- Various other duties as assigned
Education
- Post-secondary diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Revenue assurance, finance, accounting, or related professional certifications considered an asset.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive experience in billing, adjustments, revenue assurance, accounts receivable, finance operations, or related functions.
- 1–3 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience.
- Experience managing customer account discrepancies, financial adjustments, and cross-functional issue resolution.
- Primary consideration of candidates that have supervisory/managerial experience
- Strong organizational, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to coordinate a wide variety of duties and responsibilities
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a diverse work group and be a team player
- Ability to work at a fast pace and to initiate deadlines and time frames for assignments and follow-up
- Ability to listen effectively and to deal effectively with all levels of the organization
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Must possess exceptional people skills and customer service skills
- Be able to work under high pressure situations
- Bilingualism an asset
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
