Description
In the role of a Hub Section Manager, the individual will assume the leadership of a team of Unit Managers, steering the course towards operational excellence within a collaborative framework. This entails overseeing performance metrics, ensuring adherence to company policies, and upholding customer service commitments. The incumbent will be tasked with translating strategic directives into actionable plans, cultivating managerial growth, and facilitating dispute resolution. The working schedule for this role encompasses afternoon and evening hours to accommodate operational needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead a group of Unit Managers in all aspects of the operations in a team environment.
- Accountable for Section's performance and results, indices, productivity, Company policies/procedures compliance and customer service obligations and provide summarization thereof to Operations Manager.
- Filter through strategic objectives for tactical execution.
- Development of managers through example, training, discussion.
- Mediation and dispute resolution.
- Work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday 3:30pm-11:30pm, flexibility is required.

Education
- Holds a college education or equivalent credentials.
Experience
- Demonstrates core competencies: communication, innovation, leadership.
- Benefits from 3-5 years of preferred management experience.
- Possesses robust leadership and adept problem-solving skills.
- Previous exposure to unionized employee management is advantageous.
- Boasts expertise in warehouse operations and training proficiency.
- Exhibits effective communication across various contexts.
- Possesses forward-thinking dynamism and energy.
- Displays adeptness in managing a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in geography and computer skills, including SAP and TMS, is a valued asset.

Skills
Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
