Job DetailsJob Location: PTMW Inc - Topeka, KS 66618Education Level: Not SpecifiedPTMW, Inc is seeking a reliable and efficient laborer to join our manufacturing team in the doors department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembling the door kits and putting them on the metal buildings, ensuring that all doors meet our high standards of quality and safety. This position does not require previous experience as we will train the right candidate. This position works 10 hour shifts 5:30am-3:30pm Monday-Thursday with possible overtime on Fridays in a climate controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble door kits and put on enclosures
Monitor, track, and maintain accurate inventory records using GSS ERP System.
Receive, label, and store incoming inventory according to company procedures.
Conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with digital records.
Pick and prepare materials/components for kitting based on bills of materials (BOMs) or work orders.
Assemble kits accurately and efficiently, ensuring all required components are included.
Coordinate with procurement and fabrication teams to forecast and manage inventory.
Qualifications• Ability to use power tools
• Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials.
• General understanding of construction methods and materials.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent work history - including strong attendance record and tenure.
• Self motivated conscientious worker
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test and physical capacity test, including, but not limited to, the ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
