Service Technician (Based in Mexico)
About this role
What You’ll Do:
- Travel to customer facilities to complete service assignments such as equipment installations and commissioning, customer training, and preventative maintenance service tasks.
- Assist and support customers with troubleshooting and promote a strong exchange dialog via email, phone, or in-person visits.
- Make pre-installation visits, develop machinery and tool specifications and obtain Equipment Order Detail (EOD) information to facilitate smooth start-ups of equipment.

- A tech-savvy do-er with a good understanding of basic mechanical and/or electrical configurations
- A lifelong learner with a passion for advancing your career and seeing beyond your own backyard
- Technical education and training equivalent to MTS/HTS with 2-3 years formal apprenticeship in a related technical discipline.
- Three years’ experience servicing, repairing, troubleshooting complex machinery with microprocessor controls.
- Ability to use electronic and motor control test equipment.
- Basic knowledge of food processing, batching system equipment and food industry terminology.
- Fluency in languages including English and the applicable languages for the assigned region.
- Ability to work with computers and software such as Microsoft Office
