POSITION PURPOSE

 

Performs all daily functions associated with the review and verification of required Core system input for Commercial, Commercial Real Estate, Consumer and Commercial Construction loans.


To ensure the data system is accurate for Bank reporting requirements and insure accurate notification to customers per documented terms.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

  • Verify accuracy of data input for loan account creation to loan documentation.
  • Verify accuracy of system maintenance to source documentation.
  • Verify accuracy of system generated notices affecting rate and payment. 
  • Assist other associates when necessary.
  • Respond to inquiries from other departments
  • Reviews and interprets loan documentation and approvals to ensure the bank has accurately boarded the

loan to Precision, ensuring proper bank reporting.

  • Collects and logs errors and validates proper corrections when errors are identified.
  • Completes imaging of required documentation.
  • Assists with completion of monthly metrics reporting
  • Communicates effectively with all On Boarding staff.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Maintains a thorough knowledge and understanding of Prosperity policies, procedures, guidelines, and philosophies.
  • Understands and applies Compliance requirements as they apply to Commercial loan system input.
  • Completes annual compliance testing/training/certification on time.
  • Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as required, assigned, or directed.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education/Certification: High School diploma, GED or equivalent. Associate degree preferred.


 

Required Knowledge: Banking experience preferred; general loan operations experience preferred

Skills/Abilities: Must possess very detailed organizational skills and the ability to multi-task job duties.

Must possess strong interpersonal skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, and a positive customer service attitude. 

Must possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, procedures, rules, and instructions, and the ability to write correspondence and other documents. 

Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, external professionals, and management.

Repetitive Motion: Movements frequently and regularly required using the wrists, hands, and/or

 fingers.

Average Visual Abilities: Average, ordinary, visual acuity necessary to prepare or inspect documents or 

products, or operate machinery.

Physical Strength: Sedentary work; sitting most of the time. Exerts up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally.

(Almost all office jobs.)

WORKING CONDITIONS

None: No hazardous or significantly unpleasant conditions (such as in a typical office).


MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS OF THIS POSITION

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply logical or scientific thinking to define problems, collect data

establish facts and draw conclusions.

 Able to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal with multiple 

 variables.

Mathematics Ability: Ability to compute discount, interest, profit, and loss; commission markup and 

 selling price; and ratio, proportion, and percentage.

 Able to perform very simple algebra.

Language Ability: Ability to read periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and 

encyclopedias.
