About this role

Role Objective

The Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager – MIS will bridge the gap between reporting and strategic data initiatives. The role is responsible for overseeing daily MIS operations, ensuring data accuracy, supporting automated dashboards, driving process improvements, and providing actionable insights to senior management.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, Statistics, IT, or a related field. 

  • A Master’s degree or MBA is preferred. 

  • Certification in Power BI, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence will be an added advantage. 

  • Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience in MIS, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. MIS & Reporting Management:

  • Oversee end-to-end MIS reporting for business operations and sales reviews

  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly MIS reports with high accuracy and timeliness

  • Ensure data consistency across multiple reports and dashboards

2. Data Analysis & Mining:

  • Perform data mining from multiple data sources (Databases, CRM, ERP)

  • Conduct trend analysis and root-cause analysis to identify anomalies and improvement opportunities

3. Dashboarding & Data Visualization:

  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Google Sheets and Looker Studio

  • Translate business requirements into visual analytics and operational dashboards

4. Advanced Excel & Google Sheets Expertise:

  • Use Advanced Excel functions such as Power Query, VBA/Macros, complex formulas, and automation

  • Automate recurring reports using scripts and formulas

5. Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:

  • Work closely on API Integration, Task Management System with the Management

  • Execute independent logics as per Company parameters 

  • Conduct regular reviews to ensure 100% accuracy before finalizing reports

6. Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Identify opportunities for report automation and process optimization

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and audit requirements

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Accuracy and timely delivery of MIS reports with zero errors 

  • Automation and process efficiency.

  • stakeholder satisfaction with dashboard adoption.



Requirements

Technical Skills Required

  • Advanced Excel; 

  • SQL and Supabase (intermediate to advanced queries, joins)

  • Looker Studio / Power BI 

  • Advanced Google Sheets

  • Data Mining and Data Modeling

  • Knowledge of AI tools and applications 

  • Google Apps Script and Mail A utomation

  • API Integration.
