POP S&E is the exclusive athletic dining and premium food & beverage provider for Georgia Tech Athletics Association. Football is the largest component with premium hospitality seating areas, including 70+ suites, The Club Lounge, The Renasant Club, Goal Line Club, President’s Suite, West Festival Club, and Wreck Deck. Proof also provides premium food & beverage services to other sporting and special events throughout the campus.

Proof is seeking an Admin Coordinator to assist with employee scheduling, new hire recruitment processes, and assist in administrative onsite duties. The ideal candidate is organized and personable, knowledgeable in food service, and has strong communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for managing and scheduling event staff. This will include creating schedules and communicating with employees and not for profit volunteer groups.
Assist with the coordination of hiring new employees, this includes but is not limited to – job fairs, job postings, upkeep of posts, scheduling interviews, conducting interviews, hiring, and scheduling.
Attending events to assist with employee check in, event day operations, and be a administrative presence to staff, including but not limited to, filing incident reports, assisting with disciplinary action, upholding policies, tracking and overseeing employee files.
Communicate schedules to staff and follow up often with changes and re-affirming shifts.
Being a lead with staff accountability and adherence to the venue’s protocol.
Organize uniforms and ensure they are prepped for the next event.
Organization of new hire paperwork and upkeep on current employees.
Assisting with payroll as directed
Assist in the training and onboarding programs for all hourly new hires.

Assist with labor tracking, financial, and weekly reports.
Assist with events as a lead or attendant.
Assist with sales, building beos, invoicing clients
Performs other related duties as required.
QualificationsQualifications

Education and/or Experience

2+ years of experience in Staffing, Accounting or pursuing a degree in hospitality or Human Resources, with preferred Food & Beverage/Hospitality experience
Must live near or be willing to relocate to the Auburn, AL area
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, written and verbal communication, and teamwork.

Customer service mindset with a passion for large scale events and/or food service.
Proven experience in forming and maintaining a positive work environment that is inclusive and safe.
Flexibility and adaptable personality.

Work Environment

This position breakdown will range between in-office work and event attendance based on the venue event schedule. Office work entails computer usage, interdepartmental meetings and communications, talking with staff via email, phone, and in person, and assisting with event preparation as needed. Event attendance consists of being a managerial presence available during events. This position’s duties will change based upon business needs for each event. Work duties could be indoors, in temporary structures, and outdoors.

Physical Demands

Prolonged periods of standing, moving through an event space, and traveling from venue to venue
Bending, lifting, scooping, and carrying miscellaneous equipment and food items
At times there will be prolonged times of sitting and computer usage.
Ability to perform physical tasks, such as but not limited to, lifting approx. 25 lbs.

Position Salary & Benefits

This is considered a part-time position with a pay rate of $25/hour.

The working schedule will be dependent upon event needs but will often range from 20-30 hours per week during the football season.

The schedule can be flexible with the exception of event days, including but not limited to, all football games days.
