Join our Payments team as a Payments Project Manager, you'll work with clients such as Belfius, ING, P&V, Euroclear and SWIFT, leading complex initiatives across ISO 20022, Instant Payments, Open Banking, payment modernisation and regulatory change while aligning business, technology and delivery teams.

  • Excellent knowledge of business English and fluency in Dutch or French 
  • 4+ years of experience managing projects or workstream within payments or financial services
  • Experience delivering payments-related initiatives within a consultancy, bank or payment services provider 
  • Good understanding of payment systems and technologies 
  • Familiarity with Agile, Prince2, PMBOK or similar project delivery methodologies 
  • Excellent communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills 
  • Knowledge of one or more payments domains, such as Core Banking, Instant Payments, SWIFT, Cards & Digital Payments, Open Banking, Embedded Finance or Digital Currencies, is a plus.
What will you do?
As a Payments Project Manager, you will help clients deliver payments projects and transformation initiatives. You will coordinate stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, and drive successful project delivery across the payments ecosystem.
Your key responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project plans, ensuring the successful delivery of payments-related projects from initiation through implementation. 
  • Coordinate stakeholders across business and IT teams, facilitating collaboration and alignment throughout the project lifecycle. 
  • Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies and issues, providing regular reporting and proposing mitigation actions where needed. 
  • Support programme governance activities and collaborate with project sponsors, initiative owners and senior stakeholders. 
  • Coordinate contributions from multiple teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of project outcomes. 
  • Assist in capacity planning, resource coordination and project budgeting. 
  • Support the implementation of new payment capabilities, processes and operating models in line with business objectives. 
  • Contribute to client engagements by sharing insights on payments trends, market developments and industry best practices.
