Acting as a trusted second line of defence, you will support clients in managing fraud risks, navigating regulatory requirements, and improving fraud prevention and detection capabilities.

- +3 years of experience in fraud risk management in the financial services or payments industries
- Native fluency in Dutch and fluent English (French is a plus)
- A degree in law, criminology, business or a related field
- Experience working in consulting or in a project-based role
- Excellent understanding of fraud risk management, fraud prevention and detection controls, transaction monitoring, and fraud-related regulatory requirements within the financial services sector.
- Familiarity with data protection regulations
- Strong plus if you have a professional certification in fraud examination (i.e., Certified fraud examiner) or financial crime (i.e., CAMS)
Your key responsibilities:
- Monitor fraud trends and provide insights to strengthen fraud risk frameworks.
- Advise clients on fraud risk governance, policies, processes and controls.
- Assess fraud detection strategies and technologies against regulatory requirements and risk appetite.
- Conduct gap and impact assessments and recommend risk mitigation actions.
- Review fraud detection models and rules, providing independent assurance on effectiveness and compliance.
- Support fraud risk governance and promote consistent oversight across processes and controls.
