Join our Risk & Compliance team as a Compliance Consultant and help financial institutions navigate an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. You will advise clients on compliance frameworks, regulatory requirements, governance and risk management, helping them strengthen their control environment and stay ahead of regulatory change.

• A degree in Law, Criminology, or a related field.
• Recognized compliance certificate (i.e., Febelfin, ICA, ACAMS)
• Excellent knowledge of business English, and fluency in Dutch or French
• +5 years in compliance, regulatory risk, or as a compliance officer, with experience in facilitating projects
• At least 1 year of experience within the financial services sector
• Excellent understanding of legal frameworks and financial regulations, with a commitment to ongoing learning
• Good analytical skills and the ability to identify emerging risks and regulatory changes that may impact the organisation

What will you do?
Your key responsibilities:

• Advise financial institutions on regulatory compliance, governance and risk management challenges. 
• Assess and improve compliance frameworks, policies, controls and processes. 
• Support regulatory change initiatives and help translate new requirements into practical solutions. 
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, thematic reviews and control effectiveness analyses. 
• Identify compliance gaps and support the implementation of remediation actions. 
• Provide challenge on compliance risks, controls and governance arrangements. 
• Work closely with client stakeholders to strengthen compliance capabilities and regulatory resilience.
