Job Summary:

The QC Manager at Primoris Services Corporation is responsible for overseeing and managing all quality control activities across projects, ensuring adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and company policies. This role involves developing, implementing, and maintaining robust quality management systems to deliver high-quality construction and engineering services.

Job Responsibilities:


Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Plan for all assigned projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements, industry standards (e.g., ISO, ASME, API), and company best practices.
Lead and manage a team of QC inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of ongoing work, materials, and processes to identify non-conformities and ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
Oversee the calibration and maintenance of all QC equipment.
Review and approve project-specific quality documentation, including inspection and test plans (ITPs), material submittals, and welding procedures.
Investigate root causes of quality issues, implement corrective and preventative actions, and monitor their effectiveness.
Prepare and submit detailed QC reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and other required documentation to project management and clients.
Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and regulatory bodies regarding quality-related matters.
Participate in project planning meetings to ensure quality considerations are integrated from the outset.
Promote a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement within the project teams.
* Ensure all safety regulations and company policies are strictly followed during quality control activities.

Job Qualifications:**

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) or equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in quality control/quality assurance within the construction, infrastructure, or heavy industrial sectors.
At least 3-5 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role, supervising QC personnel.
Strong understanding of relevant industry codes, standards, and specifications (e.g., ASTM, AWS, ASME, API, AISC).
Certifications such as ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM), AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI), NACE, or equivalent are highly desirable.
Proven ability to develop and implement effective Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with all levels of an organization and external stakeholders.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
Ability to travel to various project sites as required.
