Desert Pine BESS- Laborer (Non-Driver)

Job Overview:

The Laborer (Non-Driver) will support various construction and maintenance tasks at the Desert Pine BESS project site, primarily involving manual labor and material handling. This role is crucial for maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Job Responsibilities:
Perform general manual labor duties, including but not limited to, digging, lifting, carrying, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
Assist skilled tradespeople (e.g., electricians, carpenters, pipefitters) with tasks as directed.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper disposal of waste and debris.
Load and unload materials and supplies from delivery vehicles.
Operate basic hand and power tools under supervision.
Spot for heavy equipment operators to ensure safe movement on site.
Follow all safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Participate in pre-task planning and safety meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or foremen.

Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Previous experience in construction or industrial environments is a plus.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform strenuous tasks in various weather conditions.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime, as needed.
Commitment to safety and a strong work ethic.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
Valid identification required (state-issued ID or passport).
