You’ll be the driving force behind safe, on-schedule, and on-budget execution, working hand-in-hand with project leadership and every discipline on site.

Key Responsibilities

    – Equipment pad and rotating equipment foundation construction

  • Ensure proper installation and verification of complex anchor bolt patterns, templates, and embedments for turbines, generators, pumps, and other critical rotating equipment

  • Coordinate with project management, engineering, survey, quality, safety, and other craft disciplines

  • Ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulatory requirements, including OSHA and site-specific rules

  • Conduct daily job briefings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning

  • Monitor productivity, manpower loading, equipment utilization, and material usage—adjusting plans to meet milestones

  • Review drawings, specifications, civil details, and work packages for proper execution

  • Interface with inspectors, client representatives, survey teams, and vendors

  • Identify and resolve field issues, constructability concerns, and work conflicts

  • Enforce quality control standards, dimensional tolerances, and inspection requirements for concrete and embedded items

  • Support equipment setting, alignment activities, and turnover requirements

Qualifications

Required

  • 10–15 years of experience in heavy civil or industrial construction, including direct power generation work

  • Proven experience on large industrial, simple-cycle, and combined-cycle power projects

  • Strong hands-on and supervisory experience with:

    – Concrete foundations and structural concrete
    – Concrete finishing and formwork systems
    – Reinforcing steel installation
    – Anchor bolt and embedment installation
    – Rotating equipment foundations and equipment setting support

  • Prior experience as a Civil General Superintendent or Superintendent on large-scale projects

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, structural details, specifications, and equipment foundation layouts

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • Strong commitment to safety and quality

Preferred

  • NCCER certification or equivalent construction credentials

  • Experience on utility-scale or large industrial EPC projects
