About the Role
We are looking for a Protective Intelligence Analyst to join our Protective Security team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to protective intelligence and security services across a portfolio of Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW), private client and corporate projects. Reporting to the Protective Security Operations Manager, you will support the delivery of protective intelligence across multiple client accounts, working closely with operational teams and senior stakeholders.
This role requires strong analytical judgement, critical thinking and excellent attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex information into practical, actionable intelligence.
We are seeking someone organised, collaborative and professional, with the integrity and discretion required to operate in a sensitive client environment. Success in the role will be measured through the quality, timeliness and impact of intelligence support provided to internal stakeholders and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct open-source research and monitor media, social media and other information sources to identify threats and emerging risks.
- Produce protective intelligence products including threat assessments, travel risk briefs, event security briefings, incident reports and online exposure assessments.
- Identify and assess hostile reconnaissance, suspicious activity, surveillance indicators and other risks relevant to clients and protective security operations.
- Support residential security, executive movements, events and travel planning through timely intelligence and risk assessments.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, intelligence reporting, operational activity and risk information.
- Work closely with Close Protection Officers (CPOs), Residential Security Teams (RSTs), Security Advisors and internal stakeholders to support operational delivery.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of SOPs, briefing packs and operational documentation.
- Support reviews of incidents, operational trends and emerging risks to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Handle sensitive client information with discretion and maintain the highest standards of information security.
- Support proposals, client reviews, project mobilisation and other operational activities where required.
- Meet agreed quality standards and internal KPIs while delivering a professional and responsive service to internal stakeholders and clients.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Experience in intelligence analysis, protective intelligence, security analysis, corporate security, risk management, military intelligence, law enforcement or a similar analytical role.
- Experience producing intelligence reports, threat assessments, protective intelligence products or OSINT reporting.
- Strong understanding of threat assessment, protective security, hostile reconnaissance and surveillance awareness.
- Excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce clear, concise reports for operational and senior stakeholders.
- Experience monitoring information sources and assessing their impact on security operations.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to manage sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and online research tools.
- Ability to work from our London office with occasional UK travel.
Desirable Skills and Experience
- Experience supporting UHNW individuals, executive protection, residential security or private client operations.
- Military, police, intelligence, government or corporate security background.
- Experience producing travel risk assessments, event security briefings or protective intelligence reports.
- Experience using OSINT platforms, mapping tools, social media monitoring or security intelligence systems.
- Knowledge of SIA licensing, BS7858, GDPR and information handling requirements.
