JOB PURPOSE

 

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Consumer App Lead to guide the implementation of a new mobile application dedicated to our Clients. This role will be responsible for the entire project lifecycle, from planning to launch and post-implementation.

The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to evolve into the role and be responsible for the future development and evolution of the application once it has been launched.

We are looking for someone who have proven experience in managing complex mobile application development projects and a strong understanding of the dynamics of the luxury industry.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Before

  • Define the scope, objectives, and deliverables of the different project release phases in close collaboration with internal stakeholders (IT, CRM, Marketing, Retail, Client Service) and external vendors.
  • Develop a detailed project plan, including timelines and internal and external resources, using Agile methodology.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal and external developers, UX/UI designers, QA specialists, etc.
  • Monitor project progress against the plan, ensuring adherence to timelines and budget.
  • Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and meet both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, ensuring their performance aligns with contractual agreements and project timelines.
  • Oversee testing phases (UAT, performance testing, security testing) to ensure the robustness and reliability of the application.
  • Monitor application performance after launch, collecting feedback and identifying areas for improvement.

After

  • Lead the evolution strategy of the mobile app, aligning it with business objectives and IT architectural guidelines.
  • Develop and manage the product roadmap for the app in close collaboration with the Digital team, following Agile methodology.
  • Lead a dedicated mobile app development team, fostering a culture of innovation and high performance.
  • Monitor emerging technologies and industry best practices.
  • Act as the internal and external point of reference for all matters related to the consumer mobile app.
  • Manage the budget and resources allocated to the development and maintenance of the app.

 

 

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

 

B.Sc. in Computer Science or a similar discipline

At least 5–7 years of experience in managing complex programs, with at least 3 years specifically dedicated to the development and implementation of native iOS mobile applications or hybrid applications using the Flutter framework.

Strong optimization, debugging, and technical skills.

Proficient in Flutter.

Proficient in Swift, Objective-C, Xcode, and Apple platform SDKs.

Extensive experience with REST APIs.

Experience delivering high-volume, high-availability, internet-facing applications.

Experience working with the Git version control system, including branching and merging strategies.

Strong knowledge of unit testing and automated testing for iOS and hybrid platforms.

Proven experience managing complex projects involving distributed teams and external vendors.

Strong knowledge of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum).

Familiarity with mobile platforms (iOS, Android) and their development guidelines.
