Quality Lead
About this role

Compensation:
- $24.00–$29/hour, depending on experience
- Day shift with flexibility to support off-shift
We're looking for a Quality Lead with a passion for continuous improvement, SQF compliance, and cross-functional collaboration. In this role, you'll oversee Quality Technicians, drive process improvement, support customer complaint resolution, and ensure the highest product standards across all shifts.
Position Summary
As the Quality Lead, you will serve as a key quality advocate and partner across operations, maintenance, and continuous improvement teams. You'll ensure that our products meet safety and quality standards, champion SQF compliance, and support a strong culture of ownership and collaboration. This hands-on leadership role requires coordination across all shifts, direct oversight of Quality Technicians, and the agility to respond quickly to quality challenges.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
🔹 Leadership
- Set the tone for quality excellence—lead by example.
- Foster open communication and team development across functions.
- Effectively prioritize tasks to meet safety, quality, and productivity goals.
🔹 Quality Oversight
- Supervise daily quality operations and provide direct support to Technicians.
- Conduct audits and manage disposition areas (Quality Hold, DMR, G aisle).
- Track KPIs, ensure timely reporting, and mitigate risks.
🔹 Training & Systems
- Lead Quality Technician training programs and operator education on procedures.
- Oversee customer return processes and maintain complaint records.
- Own the quality portion of the Trial Review process.
🔹 SQF & Compliance
- Support and maintain SQF, HACCP, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate vendor services (calibrations, pest control, etc.).
- Manage sanitation compliance across all shifts.
- Support SQF compliance through audits, HACCP plan management, testing, challenges, verifications, and validations.
- Maintain SQF compliance documentation.
- Act as main point of contact for calibrations, pest control, and other vendors as required
- Direct and track sanitation and cleaning compliance for PPC and contracted employees
🔹 Projects & Investigations
- Drive improvement initiatives using CAPA and RCA methodologies.
- Support investigations and act as the quality liaison for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Serve as the Quality Manager backup as needed.
What You Bring
✅5+ years in a quality role (industrial setting)
✅ 2+ years of leadership experience
✅ Strong knowledge of quality systems & audits
✅ GFSI/SQF experience preferred
✅Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects in a fast-paced, lean manufacturing environment. Proficiency in quality management systems, including knowledge of quality processes, tests development and improvement, and basic statistic
✅ Ability to work flexible shifts as coverage and training
✅ Ability to perform physical duties on the production floor
