Foundry Planner
About this role
- Owning one of the major central supply chain functions (factory loadings, inventory management, capacity planning) and driving key performance metrics to world class levels, recognized by customers and competitors.
- Creating, enhancing and maintaining the business processes through which the functional objectives are achieved and training the rest of the organization on the key elements of that business process.
- Developing and enhancing the necessary and appropriate report metrics for the Supply Chain in coordination with Factories, Business Units, Sales, Finance and Management.
- Designing and continually enhancing the reporting processes to ensure robust systems of evaluation and control; developing or enhancing regular reporting mechanisms which will give the Company operating information relevant to performance against plans.
- Developing a work environment that supports maximum performance and productivity.
- Data Mapping and Data Migration / Conversion
- Support system integration with cross functional teams. From design, risk assessment, draft and execute test plans, to final system implementation.
- Maintaining Master Data (e.g. Part number set up, BOM, Route) for resource planning.
- Create and link Business Object universes using multiple data providers. Build, schedule and burst reports.
- Must have Oracle ERP, Business Object or other related reporting experience and training.
- Solid experience with Excel.
- Hold self and others to high standards and data integrity and accuracy.
- High level of resiliency, someone who can successfully navigate successfully in a complex, high-volume, fast-paced, results-oriented environment and not to be overwhelmed.
- Excellent project management skills – planning, coordination of work, detail orientation, highly organized, and good time-management.
- Self-directed, detail-oriented, problem solver with passion to contribute to the organization’s success.
- Able to organize, plan, implement and report on project.
- Able to multitask and take on additional assignments as assigned.
- Must possess a team player mentality with a can-do attitude.
- Able to communicate effectively with both technical and business teams.
- Experience with planning systems, Kinaxis Rapid Response specifically desirable
- Requires a Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience.
- High tech industry experience is preferred but not required.
