JOB SCOPE:

Oversees day to day front desk operations of the clinic, scheduling, and billing. Provides excellent customer care.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Answers clinic phone line during business hours and makes reminder calls as needed• Communicates with insurance companies in regards to referrals, prior authorizations and other insurance related issues
• Keeps management informed by reviewing and analyzing special reports; summarizing information; identifying trends.
• Maintains office condition and requests repairs as needed
• Provides general support to the clinical staff
• Under the guidance of front desk supervisor manages clinicians’ and prescribers’ schedules.
• Covers front desk as needed
• Takes clients’ referral information, triages urgency of the appointment, verifies insurance
• Runs and distributes reports as assigned by an administrator and clinic supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by Clinic Director and Clinic Supervisor.

QualificationsEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum Bachelor degree is required
Minimum of 5 years of administrative experience
