Claims Representative - Subrogration
About this role
Join our expanding Subrogation team and make a meaningful impact by recovering losses and maximizing reimbursements for our insureds. As a valued member of the team, you'll use your expertise in liability analysis, settlement negotiations, and process improvement to deliver exceptional recovery results, streamline workflows, and contribute to the continued success of our claims organization.
Responsibilities:
- Investigate Liability: Analyze automobile liability cases, pinpointing responsible parties with precision.
- Initiate Recovery Efforts: Establish contact with claimants and insurance carriers to facilitate prompt, efficient recoveries.
- Negotiation & Arbitration: Present well-reasoned theories of liability to adverse parties, negotiate settlements, and draft compelling arbitration contentions.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with adverse carrier representatives, attorneys, and claimants to ensure favorable resolutions.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Stay well-versed in claims handling guidelines and statutory regulations, ensuring compliance with market standards.
- Professional Development: Participate in ongoing training and industry events to stay ahead of trends and challenges in the subrogation space.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Subrogation experience or relevant claims experience required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential as are organizational skills.
- Proven ability to collaborate within teams and resolve conflicts.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Working knowledge of Arbitration Forums is a plus.

Salary Range: $50,000 - $76,000 a year. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
