Senior UX Designer
About this role
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a UX Designer/Product Designer
- A strong portfolio demonstrating robust knowledge of design fundamentals
- Basic knowledge of games (be it mobile, PC, console, board games etc)
- Empathy for players, young and old
- A keen eye for aesthetics and strong opinions on it
- Great communication skills, particularly the ability to communicate design decisions
- Decent research, observation and deconstruction skills
- Proficiency in Figma (preferred) or similar wireframing tools
- If you love games. This helps you empathise with players a lot more easily.
- Visual design skills are also good to have. This enables you to communicate better with the game artists.
- If you have experience designing for accessibility. Many of our players have additional needs and it’s always good to have a designer who’s particularly mindful of it.
- If you’re able to use mathematics to your advantage. A lot of design decisions are data-driven, and understanding the numbers gives you an edge.
