Enterprise Data Platform Product Specialist

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Data Platform Product Specialist to support the delivery, enhancement, and operational governance of enterprise data platform capabilities built on Microsoft technologies. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, data engineering teams, architects, and platform operations teams to ensure data products and services align with organizational objectives, data governance standards, and analytics requirements.

This role supports platform strategy, roadmap planning, stakeholder engagement, product delivery, and adoption of enterprise data services while leveraging modern Microsoft data and analytics technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise data platform products and services leveraging Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric technologies.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and delivery teams to gather requirements, prioritize platform enhancements, and manage the product backlog.

  • Facilitate communication between business and technical teams to ensure platform capabilities align with organizational objectives and analytics needs.

  • Monitor platform performance, service quality, adoption metrics, and operational effectiveness to support data-driven decision-making and continuous optimization.

  • Support the delivery and enhancement of data integration, analytics, reporting, and data management capabilities across the enterprise.

  • Ensure compliance with organizational data governance, security, privacy, metadata management, and regulatory requirements.

  • Coordinate platform releases, feature deployments, user onboarding, training, and change management activities to maximize business value and platform adoption.

  • Assist in defining platform roadmaps, identifying opportunities for improvement, and driving the adoption of enterprise data services and best practices.

  • Work closely with data engineering, architecture, and operations teams to support the ongoing reliability, scalability, and effectiveness of data platform services.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience supporting enterprise data platforms, data management initiatives, analytics solutions, or technology product delivery within complex organizational environments.

  • Strong experience using SQL Server and Azure SQL to support data analysis, reporting, data validation, platform operations, and stakeholder information needs.

  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric to enable data integration, analytics, reporting, and modern enterprise data platform capabilities.

  • Advanced proficiency with Excel for data analysis, reporting, business insights, and stakeholder communication.

  • Experience using Power BI to develop dashboards, reports, and performance metrics that support operational monitoring and business decision-making.

  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, security, privacy, metadata management, and enterprise data management principles.

  • Experience working with business stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, prioritize enhancements, and support product and platform delivery.

  • Knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, backlog management, roadmap planning, and continuous improvement practices.

  • Excellent business and technical communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business-focused recommendations.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
