SCHEDULE: 40 hours, Sunday -Thursday 11am-7:30pm.
PAYS $20.00 - $21.20 per hour, DOE (Salary ranges provided are based on relevant experience and skill set)
LOCATIONS: Within the following Boston MA work sites: Food Service Building; 414 Harrison Ave.; 434 Harrison Ave.; 444 Harrison Ave.; 363 Albany St.
SUMMARY OF POSITION:
The Housekeeper will perform daily Bathroom/Lobby Attendant – Men’s Inn, weekly, and monthly laundering and cleaning responsibilities as determined by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be able to work comfortably in the Men’s Inn bathrooms when in full use – cleaning would take place while in use.
Requirements
EDUCATION/TRAINING:
REQUIRED:
- High school Diploma or GED
- Ability to read and understand printed labels, signage, and instructions
- The ability to understand and speak English
KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:
REQUIRED:
- Minimum of six (6) months of institutional or commercial industry cleaning
PREFERRED:
- Knowledge of industry standards as applied to Sanitation and General Procedures
PHYSICAL ABILITIES/SKILLS:
REQUIRED:
- Ability to perform frequent bending, standing, stooping, stretching and walking
- Ability to turn over twenty-five (25) pound mattress for cleaning
- Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
- Ability to perform frequent and repetitive motions to perform all types of cleaning functions
