Job Responsibilities

Job summary: As the primarily team lead of space and allocation management and attending to all respective services and partners issues relating to space allocation and utilization

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in overall management of space allocation to ensure that all vessels’ space utilization both handhaul and backhaul is at an optimal target level to maximize profit of trade services
  • Liaise with agents, internal and external stakeholders on all tactical/strategic matters, including new services, services reshuffle, vessels’ redeployment plan, phasing in/out option  and port change / omissions
  • Maintain Trade Services Catalogue and preparation of lifting reports
  • Monitor space utilization for transshipment cargoes
  • Review agents’ performance on space utilization efficiency
  • Review & coordinate with other division stakeholders (i.e EMD / OPPC / RO) to maximize the backhaul sailing full and down with both laden and empty  container
  • Optimize cargo management to ensure PnL optimization
  • Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by your supervisor

 

Job Requirements

  • Degree/Diploma in Business or equivalent with minimum 5 years of experience within similar role
  • Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical, negotiation and communication skills
  • Meticulous, outgoing personality, assertive and ability to work under tight deadlines
  • Able to multi-task and work independently
