We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced  Customer Service & Sales Executive to join our dynamic team in Zambia. The successful candidate will:

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage pricing for services via calls and emails.
  • Ensure RFAs/PMTs are filed correctly by agencies in line with agreed terms.
  • Review customer requests for freetime and other commercial matters.
  • Investigate and verify FCAs. 
  • Monitor and manage space allocation on GCS/GC2/CSG/Intra Gulf feeder vessels to ensure optimal utilization.
  • Review agents’ performance on space usage.
  • Coordinate with agencies on service changes, new services, and vessel omissions.
  • Monitor REEFER container utilization.
  • Prepare weekly space utilization reports for GCS/GC2/CSG/Intra Gulf feeder services.
  • Generate CFMT reports weekly.
  • Create PRD & Ocean/Feeder Links.
  • Review and assign freight differences for COD requests.
  • Assist with quotations for tender accounts.
  • Liaise with DG Desk to confirm Non-DG status of commodities.
  • Support agents in resolving LMS-related issues. 
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies together with the Branch Manager.
  • Negotiate with customers.
  • Perform research and identify new potential market opportunities.

 

MUST HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in commercial shipping or trade operations.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics systems.
