Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the coordination and compilation of :
- BUDGET : Consolidated Annual Budget of $3b business size annually, with detailed breakdown by business units, subsidiaries, individual trade and sub-trade, and supported by individual service with country volume/ rate mix and equipment type P&L.
- FORECAST : Monthly 5 Quarter Rolling Forecast driven mainly by change in monthly deployment cascading plan with corresponding changes in forecasted rate, volume and load factors changes per the forecasted market condition as submitted by Trade/Commercial management team. The Rolling Forecast is a dynamic and an iterative process with compilation done in 4 distinctive phase per the AFPO process (A: actual, F:forecast, P:plan, O:outlook). ACTUAL : Reporting of monthly actual performance with detailed analysis segmented by various product P&L for the respective trade managers, covering long-haul, Intra Asia, MELL, MSC, etc.
- GROUP CEO & BOARD OF DIRECTOR BUSINESS UPDATE : Responsible for the preparation monthly update to CEO and BOARD updating the monthly performance, quarterly and full year forecast, including highlights of market condition and development with also highlights including opportunities and exposures.
- AD HOC PROJECT : Responsible for the relevant analysis on many key strategic projects directed by CEO and CFO, and Business Units. These include launching of new services, CAPEX including vessels and Equipment, Sensitivity Analysis etc. COSTING SYSTEM & ANAPLAN MAINTAINANCE: co-ownership of the various strategic system supporting BCD financial data warehouse, including standard costing module and Anaplan for necessary reference.
- VESSEL & SLOT COST : Responsible for critical area of costing and control relating to vessel and slot cost control, review and reporting. The slot costs projections with various joint services with COSCO, EVERGREEN, OOCL, CMA, and many other feeder operators.
Job Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related disciplines.
- Minimum 20 years of relevant working experience.
- Experience in leadership roles and managing a team.
- Experience in collaboration and support of senior management.
- Strong in communication, problem-solving and process improvements.
- Experience in Anaplan, LMS, Dashboarding tools (Power-BI) is preferred.
