Overview

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services using imaging modalities. Patient services include diagnostic ultrasounds of inpatient high-risk pregnancies under the care of Maternal Fetal Medicine providers.

Qualifications

Education
  • Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program, or equivalent experience according to Intersocietal Accreditation Commission (IAC) Required
Work Experience
  • 1 year of OB ultrasound experience Required
Licenses and Certifications
  • ARDMS Registered Required
Additional Licenses and Certifications
  • Nuchal Translucency certification within one year of onboarding Required
  • Commitment to attaining Fetal Echo Credential within three years of onboarding Required
  • BLS certification Required
