Technical Architect_GNC_Offshore

Position Overview 

Lead the architecture and technical design of enterprise React Native mobile applications, delivering secure, scalable, and high-performance customer experiences integrated with Shopify and enterprise commerce platforms. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Define the end-to-end architecture for React Native mobile applications. 

• Architect integrations with Shopify, enterprise APIs, and backend platforms. 

• Define mobile authentication, security, native capabilities, and application integration patterns. 

• Establish standards for scalability, performance, observability, and application reliability. 

• Lead architecture reviews, technical governance, and engineering best practices. 

• Collaborate with Product, UX, Engineering, QA, and enterprise platform teams. 

• Drive cloud architecture, CI/CD, release management, and production readiness. 

Required Qualifications 

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years as a Technical or Solution Architect. 

• Expertise in React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, and native iOS/Android application architecture. 

• Experience architecting React Native applications integrated with Shopify Storefront APIs, Customer Account APIs, Checkout Kit/Checkout Sheet Kit, and enterprise commerce services. 

• Strong expertise in REST APIs, GraphQL, Azure API Management (APIM), microservices, and event-driven integration patterns. 

• Experience designing secure mobile solutions using OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), MFA, Face ID/Touch ID, social sign-on, secure token management, and session management. 

• Experience integrating push notifications, deep linking, analytics, crash reporting, feature flags, remote configuration, and native device capabilities. 

• Strong understanding of customer accounts, subscriptions, loyalty, promotions, payments, inventory, BOPIS, and order management. 

• Experience with Azure Cloud, CI/CD, DevSecOps, App Store/Google Play release management, and mobile performance optimization. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• Experience with Ordergroove, Kobie, Azure, Firebase, Adobe Analytics, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Sentry, or similar enterprise platforms. 

• Experience delivering enterprise retail, omnichannel, or digital commerce solutions.
