Senior Executive (Business Development & Marketing)
About this role
Job Purpose:
To support business development and marketing activities by executing sales, marketing and engagement initiatives for executive, professional and customised education programmes, contributing to revenue growth, market visibility and client acquisition for the Centre.
Key Accountabilities:
Business Development Support
- Assist in identifying and pursuing business opportunities with corporates, government agencies and professional bodies.
- Support lead generation, initial client engagement and coordination of follow‑up activities.
- Assist in preparing proposals, quotations, presentations and pitch materials for prospective clients.
Marketing & Promotional Execution
- Support planning and execution of marketing campaigns, promotional activities and outreach initiatives across digital and physical platforms.
- Coordinate content development, programme brochures, website updates and social media activities in collaboration with marketing teams.
- Assist in organising events, briefings, roadshows and industry engagement sessions.
Client Coordination & Engagement
- Support client communication and coordination before and during programme delivery in collaboration with programme and operations teams.
- Assist in managing enquiries, registrations and client documentation.
- Collect client feedback and market insights to support service improvement and new offering development.
Sales Administration & Pipeline Tracking
- Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, client interactions and sales pipelines.
- Support preparation of sales reports, market updates and performance tracking for management review.
- Ensure timely follow‑up on leads and prospects to support conversion targets.
Internal Stakeholder Support
- Coordinate with academic staff, programme managers, finance and operations teams to support proposal development and programme execution.
- Assist in aligning marketing and business development activities with programme availability and delivery timelines.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the business development and marketing function.
Qualification & Experience:
- Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Communications or related fields.
- Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in business development, marketing, sales support or client engagement, preferably in executive education, training, professional services or B2B environments.
- Experience in proposal preparation, marketing coordination or sales support is an added advantage.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal, coordination and organisational skills.
