Transportation/Client Services Specialist
About this role
Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles along established service routes.
- Perform the respectful transfer and transportation of pets entrusted to our care.
- Maintain accurate chain-of-custody documentation and identification procedures.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with veterinary hospitals and clinic teams.
- Communicate professionally with clients, hospital personnel, and internal teams.
- Identify and escalate service concerns, operational issues, and client opportunities.
- Uphold company appearance, safety, and service standards at all times.
- Represent Pet Meadow with compassion, professionalism, and integrity.
Required Skills & Experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and transport pets safely and respectfully.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Customer service, veterinary, healthcare, hospitality, funeral service, or transportation experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong accountability and professionalism.
- Passion for serving others during meaningful and emotional moments.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in a pet-related field, after-care industry, or transportation industry
- Experience driving a commercial van
- Experience with GPS apps
- Passion for working with and caring for animals - animal lovers encouraged to apply!
