Barback - Part Time
About this role
The Barback assists bartenders by stocking beverages and supplies, replenishing ice, cleaning bar areas, washing glassware, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. This role helps ensure exceptional guest service by supporting smooth and efficient bar operations. Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and provide excellent customer service.
Job Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years old to apply.
- Knowledge of spirits, wine, and beer as well as other products offered.
- Knowledge of standard bar equipment to include dishwasher, slicers, coolers, ice machine, etc.
- Basic problem solving and decision-making skills.
- Availability to include weekdays, weekends, evening, and holidays.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests.
- Ability to work on a fun, fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods (up to 8–10 hours per shift).
- Frequent bending, reaching, and stooping to restock and organize supplies.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. (e.g., cases of liquor, kegs, boxes of supplies).
- Manual dexterity and coordination to handle glassware, bottles, and bar equipment safely.
- Ability to move efficiently in tight or crowded spaces behind the bar.
- Tolerance for varying temperatures (e.g., near ice machines, coolers, or outdoor bars).
- Ability to handle slippery surfaces and safely manage spills.
Work Hours
- Will be required to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs
- Scheduling includes holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events and functions
