We are looking for a Sales Senior District Leader - Traditional Trade based in Samsun who will be responsible for achieving volume, revenue and execution excellence objectives in line with traditional trade channel and subchannel strategies for beverages and snacks categories within specifically assigned mega city districts through commercial planning, POS relationship management and execution excellence via field force management under distributor operations.

 

This role will be merging the responsibilities of two single category (Foods or Beverages) and will manage both snacks and beverages distributors as well as operations executives, route supervisors and sales representatives under distributor payroll. 

Responsibilities

 

  • Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual volume and revenue targets across snack and beverage categories.
  • Analyze sales performance, forecast accuracy, and business trends regularly, translating insights into actionable commercial plans.
  • Achieve category-specific market share objectives within the assigned district.
  • Drive excellence in traditional trade KPIs, including route compliance, hit rate, product assortment, and distribution targets for Hero SKUs and innovation launches.
  • Ensure superior in-store execution on racks, coolers, and point-of-sale assets, maximizing stock share and visibility versus competitors.
  • Manage promotional investments and budgets in line with agreed Retailer Value Offers, profitability goals, segment strategies, and execution objectives.
  • Conduct regular field visits to strengthen customer relationships, identify growth opportunities, and improve execution standards.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer decision-making processes, monitor competitive activity, and implement mutually beneficial business solutions to achieve commercial goals.
  • Manage the POS universe within the region, increase the number of active customers, and resolve issues impacting customer productivity and sales performance.
  • Lead business planning and action execution for top-segment customers and most valuable stores.
  • Lead and manage Route Supervisors and Operations Executives to deliver sales and execution goals.
  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, talent development, performance management, and employee relations processes in partnership with HR.
  • Develop succession and contingency plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Create and execute individual development plans based on capability assessments and health check processes.
  • Minimize undesired turnover and ensure talent retention targets are achieved.
  • Set monthly objectives and conduct ongoing performance management for frontline teams.
  • Ensure effective task management and compliance with frontline sales management processes.
  • Build strong distributor partnerships and ensure operational excellence across the distributor network.
  • Set distributor performance targets and monitor results through regular business reviews.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and optimal inventory levels aligned with commercial plans and sales forecasts.
  • Drive distributor profitability by reviewing P&L performance and implementing corrective actions where necessary.
  • Monitor distributor credit exposure and take proactive measures to mitigate risk.
  • Develop distributor succession and backup plans to ensure long-term business continuity.
  • Lead distributor transition and change management activities when required.

 

Qualifications

 

 
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in distributor and frontline sales team management.
  • Execution and operations excellence oriented.Proficient in Microsoft Windows applications.
  • Strong understanding of key business drivers and the ability to manage them effectively.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills.
  • Sound knowledge of key financial concepts, primarily P&L and cash flow management.
  • Strong selling, negotiation, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid Class B driver's license.
