In this role, the Logistics, Distribution & Transportation (LD&T) Coordinator plays a critical leadership role within the Supply Chain organization by overseeing transportation operations and supervising a team of transport drivers. This position is responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and cost-effective product deliveries to Company distribution centers while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and PepsiCo safety standards. The role also serves as a key local interface with dedicated carriers, leading improvement initiatives, supporting operational performance, and owning financial forecasting and analysis for the transportation cost center. Through strong collaboration with internal stakeholders and a focus on continuous improvement, this role directly contributes to service excellence and overall business performance.
Responsibilities
- Daily production of the Bid Board and the awarding of runs to Drivers.
- Daily review of Driver DOT trip reports, editing and creating reports
- Monitoring Drivers DOT Hours of Service and available hours.
- Communicating with Drivers on Dispatch instructions and changes.
- Coordinating with DC Leads appointments and trailer requirements.
- Coordinating and instructing lease Drivers as needed.
- Coordinating the Florida Doubles operation and Networking Hub with Traffic Drivers.
- Daily communication with Drivers to review service needs and requirements.
- Ensure all inbound and outbound loads are delivered on time.
- Communicating with Warehouse Leads on load status.
- Consistent and effective communication by email and telephone.
- Tracking and maintaining trailer and tractor inventory.
- All other duties as assigned by Resource
Compensation and Benefits:
- The expected compensation range for this position is between $39,500 - $63,100.
- Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range during the hiring process.
- Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 2+ years of previous experience in administration, logistics, transportation, or customer service preferred.
- Excel experience required.
- Experience with DPS and/or SAP preferred.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service (HOS) preferred.
- Availability to work Saturday–Monday plus a rotating Tuesday night-shift schedule.
