Responsibilities
The Opportunity
This role is responsible for leading the People agenda for the VDM Sales organization, developing and executing talent, organization, culture, and workforce strategies that enable commercial growth, strengthen organizational capabilities, and drive business performance.
Your Impact
As People Business Partner Director your scope would consist of:
- Lead the People Agenda for the VDM Sales organization, ensuring alignment between business priorities and people strategies to drive sustainable growth and performance.
- Partner with senior Sales leaders to develop and execute talent, organization, culture, and workforce plans that strengthen organizational capabilities and accelerate business results.
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives, including organization design, workforce planning, succession management, and capability building to support current and future business needs.
- Lead key talent management processes, including performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, leadership development, and employee engagement.
- Partner with business leaders to attract, develop, retain, and deploy critical talent, ensuring robust pipelines for key positions across the Sales organization.
- Champion a high-performance and inclusive culture by fostering employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, accountability, and strong employee experience.
- Lead change management and organizational transformation initiatives, ensuring successful adoption of new ways of working while maintaining business continuity and employee commitment.
- Provide data-driven insights and strategic recommendations on people-related topics, enabling informed decision-making and proactive management of organizational risks and opportunities.
- Ensure flawless execution of core HR programs, policies, and processes while maintaining compliance with company standards and local regulations.
- Collaborate closely with Centers of Excellence, People Services, and cross-functional teams to deliver integrated HR solutions that support commercial objectives.
Qualifications
Who Are We Looking For?
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR Generalist experience across multiple business functions, with a strong preference for experience supporting Sales and Commercial organizations.
- Proven experience leading organizational transformation, change management, and culture initiatives.
- Deep expertise in talent management, succession planning, leadership development, workforce planning, and organizational design.
- Ability to influence and challenge senior leaders while building trusted partnerships across all organizational levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging data and insights to drive workforce decisions and business outcomes.
- Experience leading employee engagement and high-performance culture initiatives in dynamic environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across HR Centers of Excellence and cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a matrix organization.
- Excellent communication, executive presence, and change leadership skills.
- Advanced English proficiency and experience working within regional or global organizations.
