Internship - TPU Sub-Assembly

Overview:

Selected interns will have the opportunity to work on real-world, value-driven projects in Redesign Value Steam Mapping of TPU Sub-Assembly – Production Department, based on their background, skills, and interests as assessed by the hiring managers during the interview process:

Project Description:

  • Study current production background of VN1 TPU Sub-Assembly;

  • Measure and Analyze the current Value Stream Mapping of TPU Sub-Assembly Lines;

  • Redesign Value Steam Mapping of sub-lines in TPU Sub-Assembly for demand of next 3 years;

Requirements:

  • Expected full-time working (4-5 days/week) within 6 months;

  • Final-year students or fresh graduate in Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Industrial System Management, Logistics Production Manager or related;

  • Good English communication skills are advantage;

  • Basic VSM and DMAIC Knowledge;

  • Basic Solid Work/CAD-CAM Drawing is a big advantage;

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel;

What skills and experience will the intern gain through this internship?

  • Hands-on experience of VSM;

  • Understanding the process and product of Pepperl+Fuchs;
