About the Role:

The Hotel Outlet Manager for Terrace54 is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hotel's premier dining and beverage outlet, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that aligns with the brand's standards. This role involves managing a diverse team, coordinating with kitchen and service staff, and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction through attentive service and quality control. The manager will drive revenue growth by implementing effective sales strategies, managing inventory, and optimizing operational efficiency. Additionally, the position requires close collaboration with hotel management to align outlet goals with overall property objectives and to uphold compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations. Ultimately, the Hotel Outlet Manager plays a pivotal role in enhancing the hotel's reputation and profitability through outstanding outlet management and guest engagement.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in food and beverage management within a hotel or upscale restaurant environment.
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing a team of 15 or more employees.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and compliance regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Certification in hospitality or food and beverage management (e.g., ServSafe, Certified Food and Beverage Executive).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience managing a rooftop or outdoor dining venue.
  • Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems and inventory management software.
  • Demonstrated success in driving sales and improving operational efficiency.
  • Multilingual abilities to enhance guest communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise all daily operations of Terrace54, including staff scheduling, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure exceptional guest service by monitoring service standards and addressing guest feedback promptly and effectively.
  • Manage inventory control, ordering, and cost management to maximize profitability while minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with culinary and beverage teams to develop and implement innovative menus and promotions.
  • Maintain compliance with all health, safety, and licensing regulations, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
  • Analyze sales reports and financial data to identify trends and implement strategies for revenue growth.
  • Coordinate with hotel management to align outlet operations with overall hotel goals and marketing initiatives.
  • Handle administrative duties including budgeting, payroll, and vendor relations.

The required and preferred skills are essential for effectively managing Terrace54’s operations and team. Leadership and communication skills enable the manager to motivate staff, resolve conflicts, and ensure smooth service delivery. Knowledge of food safety and compliance ensures the outlet meets all regulatory standards, maintaining guest safety and trust. Proficiency with POS and inventory systems supports accurate tracking of sales and stock, which is critical for cost control and profitability. Additionally, skills in sales strategy and guest engagement help the manager to create appealing promotions and foster a welcoming atmosphere that drives repeat business and enhances the hotel's overall reputation.  

Physical Requirements   - (not limited to)

  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
  • Must be able to stand, stoop, bend, crawl, reach above and below shoulders, use arms and wrists repetitively, climb ladders and stairs, and walk on uneven surfaces.
  • Must be able to operate a motor vehicle using safety precautions.
  • Must be able to recognize, register, and respond visually to color and depth perception.
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Must be able to work indoors, outdoors, in extreme heat and cold.
  • Must be able to work around moderate noise levels.
