Our Apprentices will participate in on-the-job training and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural and turf equipment. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
  • Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components
  • Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products
  • Use diagnostic tools and computer functions
  • Attend & participate in: Apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

 

Requirements

  • Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed 
  • Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
  • May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become an apprentice
  • Having knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
  • High School Diploma/equivalent
