Position: Licensed Dental Assistant

Clinic: Charisma Dental Studio

We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team at Charisma Dental Studio, a proud part of the Passion Dental Group. Specifics about the role:

• Job Type: Full Time
• Schedule: Monday-Thursday 9 am-5:30 pm (can be flexible)
• Wage: $30 to $35/ hour, depending on experience.

 

What you’ll do:

• Assist the dentist chairside during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict infection control protocols.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-treatment care, and dental procedures.
• Take and develop X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support front desk operations as needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
• Contribute to a positive, patient-focused clinic environment.

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant 
• Certification as a Dental Assistant with BCCOHP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, you’re as good at explaining care as you are at providing it.
• Excellent multitasking and organizational skills, and you’re comfortable managing a busy schedule with ease.
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work both independently and as part of a close-knit clinical team.
• Comfort with Power Practice, Cleardent and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook) experience is a bonus!
