Position: Dental Administrator

Location: Toronto, ON

Clinic: Dr. Steven & Dr. Jonathan Stern Dentistry

Specifics about the role:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Compensation: $23-30 an hour
• Schedule:
  Mon - Thu 9 am - 5:30 pm
  Fri - 9:30 am - 4 pm

 

What you’ll do:

• Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
• Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
• Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
• Oversee insurance claims, billing systems, and follow up with insurance companies
• Establish and manage office protocols to keep operations running smoothly
• Coordinate and optimize appointment schedules
• Provide leadership and foster a team culture focused on outstanding client service

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental admin role.
• Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ABELDent is an asset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a patient-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
