We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate Dental Administrator / Hygiene Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you’ll be at the heart of both the front desk experience and the hygiene schedule, helping ensure patients receive seamless, well-coordinated care from start to finish.

Specifics about the role:

  • Job Type: Full Time
  • Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday- Schedule can be flexible

 

What you’ll do:

  • Be the warm, welcoming face of the clinic, ensuring every patient feels valued and cared for
  • Manage phone calls, direct inquiries, and efficiently book appointments
  • Coordinate and optimize the hygiene schedule.
  • Support hygienists by ensuring schedules are full, balanced, and running efficiently
  • Maintain and organize the patient database with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Oversee insurance claims, billing systems, and follow up with insurance companies
  • Identify gaps in the hygiene schedule and proactively manage recalls and reactivation
  • Help establish and maintain office protocols to keep daily operations running smoothly
  • Contribute to a positive, team-focused environment centered on exceptional patient care

 

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental clinic environment
  • Knowledge of dental billing and insurance protocols
  • Strong understanding of hygiene scheduling.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with Tracker is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
  • Friendly, professional demeanour with a patient-first mindset
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
