This is a great opportunity to get started in the Oil & Gas industry. While working in the field, you will train to inspect pipe and working on a crew. This involves intensive labor including bending, lifting, stooping, reaching, twisting most of shift. Lifting to 50 lbs., working in the outside elements and clean pipe connections.
Perform inspection duties primarily on drill pipe and pipe related coatings
Visually and dimensionally inspect pipe and/or pipe coatings
Maintain records of inspection as necessary
Perform minor repairs and cleaning of the equipment and facilities keeping them in a safe condition
Help maintain inventory of supplies and/or shop equipment
Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Maintain a good attendance record
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
Qualifications
High School diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
1-3 years of work experience
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening as well as background check
Previous oilfield experience is preferred, but not required
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in adverse conditions (heat and cold) Must be able to bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, balance, climb, and reach overhead.
Must be able to handle (using both hands and arms and rotation of the hand or wrist).
Must be able to manipulate fingers to pick, pinch or, otherwise working with fingers primarily.
You must be able to walk, sit and stand for an extended period.
Must be able to carry, push, pull, and lift to 50 pounds.
Must be able to engage in coherent speech and possess the capacity to hear loud and soft noises. also rank by experience
