Job DetailsJob Location: Cambridge, OH 43725Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Category: Skilled Labor - TradesUnder the supervision of a Journeyman Electrician, the Electrical Apprentice assists with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across facility operations, including lighting, power, and event-related systems.
Assist with installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of electrical systems
Troubleshoot electrical issues using standard testing equipment
Repair electrical malfunctions, including wiring, motors, and lighting systems
Install wiring, conduits, fixtures, and equipment
Replace defective components such as relays, switches, and motors
Assist with setup of electrical systems for events
Maintain lighting systems and related equipment
Keep work areas clean and organized
Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Perform other duties as assigned
QualificationsEDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Requires 0-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area or field.
Must be 18 years of age
Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

Manual dexterity -- Regularly required to use hands, to finger, handle or feel
Reach with hands and arms
Climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl to access electrical systems
Climbing ladders and staircases multiple times per day as needed.
May spend long hours in walking or standing
Frequent lifting / pushing / pulling up to 25lbs; occasional lifting / pushing / pulling up to 50lbs; rarely lifting / pushing / pulling up to 75-100lbs (with assistance)
Ability to operate heavy equipment
Working from a lift truck, scissor lift or boom lift.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for inspection or electrical systems and electrical repairs
Ability to distinguish colors and color-coded wires.
Hearing sufficient to clearly hear voices, alarms, bells and horns.
