Job Summary

We are a strong, fast-moving team developing advanced solutions in one of Palo Alto Networks’ most innovative areas — Email Security.

We are looking for an exceptional Senior Frontend Engineer with deep technical skills, an AI-forward mindset, and a passion for creating top-tier user experiences. You will join a team that values clean, scalable architecture and high-quality code, leveraging AI to accelerate development. Working closely with Product, UX, and Backend teams, you will deliver impactful features and intuitive interfaces that help protect our customers from phishing, business email compromise, and evolving email-based threats.

Key Responsibilities

• Frontend Development & Architecture: Design and develop high-performance, scalable user interfaces using Angular and TypeScript. Contribute significantly to architectural decisions and continuously evolve our core frontend features.

• AI-First Development Evangelism: Build, refine, and champion AI-powered development practices, including automated testing, intelligent code reviews, and code generation. Leverage AI coding assistants to significantly accelerate delivery timelines and elevate code quality.

• Feature Ownership: Take end-to-end ownership of critical frontend features, proactively challenge assumptions, and drive development to craft industry-leading user interfaces.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Frontend, Product, UX, and Backend teams to accurately translate complex security needs and requirements into intuitive, seamless user experiences.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional frontend development experience.

• Expert-level, hands-on experience with modern Angular development — Must.

• Demonstrated experience building and maintaining large-scale, complex web applications, ideally including data-heavy and complex user interfaces.

• Proficiency with TypeScript and modern JavaScript.

• Proven experience applying AI-powered tools and workflows across planning, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and refactoring to maximize productivity and code quality.

• Solid command of RxJS and reactive programming principles.

• Strong understanding of frontend performance optimization techniques and scalable architecture, including handling asynchronous data streams and complex state management.

• Experience working in an agile, fast-paced environment.

• Independent, proactive, and collaborative team player with a strong ownership mindset.

• Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience with data visualization or UI animation — Advantage.

• Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts and enterprise products — Advantage.

• Experience building AI workflows for development teams — Advantage.
