Brushy Creek Post Acute is a beautiful 144-bed skilled nursing facility located next to the hospital in Greer, South Carolina. Our unique campus features 12 cottage-style homes (12 residents each), each with its own kitchen, as well as gardens and outdoor spaces for residents and staff to enjoy. We provide a highly structured and supportive environment, with on-site leadership available 24/7, making this an ideal place for nurses who value teamwork, consistency, and strong clinical support.

Position Summary

As a Weekend Supervisor (RN), you will oversee clinical and operational activities during weekend shifts, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You will serve as the on-site clinical leader, supporting nursing staff, addressing resident needs, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff during weekend shifts

  • Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care

  • Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and facility leadership

  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff

  • Assist with staffing coordination and coverage as needed

  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation

  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations

  • Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and effectively

  • Participate in clinical problem-solving and emergency response as needed

  • Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families

  • Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

  • Support facility quality initiatives and survey readiness efforts

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in South Carolina

  • Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required

  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred

  • Strong understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance

Skills & Abilities

  • Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills

  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills

  • Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively

  • Commitment to delivering exceptional resident care

Licenses & Certifications

  • Current South Carolina RN license in good standing

  • Current CPR certification preferred

  • Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements

  • Must remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing
