Brushy Creek Post Acute is a beautiful 144-bed skilled nursing facility located next to the hospital in Greer, South Carolina. Our unique campus features 12 cottage-style homes (12 residents each), each with its own kitchen, as well as gardens and outdoor spaces for residents and staff to enjoy. Position Summary
As a Weekend Supervisor (LPN), you will oversee clinical and operational activities during weekend shifts, ensuring residents receive safe, high-quality, and compassionate care. You will serve as the on-site clinical leader, supporting nursing staff, addressing resident needs, and ensuring compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support LPNs, CNAs, and nursing staff during weekend shifts
Ensure delivery of high-quality, resident-centered care
Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and facility leadership
Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff
Assist with staffing coordination and coverage as needed
Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations
Respond to resident, family, and staff concerns professionally and effectively
Participate in clinical problem-solving and emergency response as needed
Serve as a liaison between nursing staff, physicians, residents, and families
Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment
Support facility quality initiatives and survey readiness efforts
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Graduate of an accredited LPN program
Active, unrestricted LPN license in South Carolina
Long-term care and rehabilitation experience required
Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of clinical operations and regulatory compliance
Skills & Abilities
Strong clinical judgment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively
Commitment to delivering exceptional resident care
Licenses & Certifications
Current South Carolina LPN license in good standing
Current CPR certification preferred
Must maintain all required continuing education and licensure requirements
Must remain in good standing with the South Carolina Board of Nursing
